VA Today Magazine Contributing Writer Program

VA Today Magazine provides insight on a wide array of Virtual Assistant industry topics.  NAVAH welcomes article contributions from our magazine subscribers.  We provide the Contributing Writer Program as a platform for our Virtual Assistant subscribers to enhance their professional standing and gain industry exposure by sharing their exptertise with others.  To facilitate this effort, VAs whose articles are published in VA Today Magazine receive the Contributing Writer seal to display on their website.

Suggested Article Topics

We are interested in well-written articles that provide information that will help our readers succeed in their business or career.

• Client Relations - Best practices, encouraging return business, etc.
• Work/Life Balance - Important considerations, what not to do, etc.
• Marketing - Ideas, types, branding, etc.
• Applications - Useful hardware, software or programs
• Small Business Tips or Entrepreneur Advice
• Business Development - Business plans, website design, etc.
• Business Practices - Billing, time tracking, organization, etc.

Details

The Contrtibuting Writer Program is open to all VA Today Magazine subscribers.  North American Virtual Assistant Headquarters membership, Ethics Verified or NAVAH Certified Virtual Assistant status is not required.  Only one article on a chosen topic will be selected for each VA Today issue.  If deemed appropriate, additional articles submitted by NAVAH Members may be published to the NAVAH Knowledge Base.  Authors whose submissions are chosen for inclusion in VA Today Magazine will easily be able to advertise their accomplishment by displaying the VA Today Contributing Writer seal on their website.

• Contributing writers must be active VA Today subscribers
• Each article must be a minimum of 500 words
• Accurate spelling and grammar is essential as a poorly written article may be rejected in its entirety
• NAVAH reserves the right to edit submitted articles for content or make other minor corrections for inclusion in VA Today Magazine or the Knowledge Base.
• Articles must be submitted in an editable .doc format
• We want you to receive the greatest benefit from your article submission, so we encourage you to include a tasteful two to three sentence author bio at the end of your articles.
