Virtual Assistant Ethics Verification
Trust is a significant factor in any business relationship. A Virtual Assistant is an ideal solution to many entrepreneurs needs; however, there are various aspects of a virtual business partnership that cause potential clients to feel skeptical. Most notably:
-
As independent contractors, Virtual Assistants are not governed by the supervisory "checks and balances" of traditional employees.
-
Most clients will be accustomed to relying heavily on the impressions gained by working in close proximity with their assistant. Workng virtually can enhance the natural suspicions aroused by an unfamiliar person.
-
The Virtual Assistant profession is still perceived as a relatively new field of work. A potential client's lack of clarity on the role of a Virtual Assistant could cause negative misconceptions.
-
As with any vocation, there are opportunists who can give the Virtual Assistat profession a negative reputation.
Given these challenges, it is vital that you show potential clients that you are serious about your reputation and that you hold your profession in high esteem. How do you do that?
By becoming Ethics Verified.
Ethics Verification provides a sense of security for your clients. By displaying the Ethics Verified seal, you are making a statement of knowledge and ability. Potential clients will see that you possess the knowledge of ethical business practices and the ability to apply them to your virtual environment. The Ethics Verified seal helps to establish the essential foundation of trust between you and your future clients.
